"In just a little over an hour after calling Flood Department for help, Mike, Ryan and Kyle were
at my door ready to deal with my flooded basement room. 

They took care of everything including moving heavy exercise equipment and doing it with good humor.  These guys were terrific.

After the saturated carpet was ripped out, I was worried about the sticky residue of black rubber that remained on the concrete floor, but I was assured that this will easily scraped off once the floor dries. 
Drying machine(s) were left in place on Wednesday; on Friday, my basement room was thoroughly dry and, indeed, the black material was scraped from the cement.

Not only did the men take care of the mess in my house, they explained why the water came into the house and took the time to speak with a contractor who came immediately to inspect the situation. 
The men conferred on the best way to make the needed repairs and, in fact, two of the men from Flood indicated they had to make the same fix in their own homes.  This surely gave me confidence in the contractor's capability.

Realizing that the estimate given for the work was based on more work than was actually needed, I spoke with Chris in the office who agreed to adjust the cost so that it would reflect only the work that was done for this job.  Absolutely no hassle!  Excellent company!
